Privacy policy

What we collect

When you sign in we receive your email address and display name from our identity provider (signin.ounie.com). When you run a call we store the run record: the company you asked about, the parameters you chose, the result we returned, and the credit reservation and settlement.

What we don't do

We don't track you across the web. There are no third-party analytics scripts, no advertising pixels, no session replay. We don't sell or share which companies you look at, and we don't use your run history to train any model.

Your runs are private

There is no public page for a result and no share link. A run is visible to you when you are signed in, and to API keys you have minted — nobody else. Which companies you are reading is not disclosed to anyone, including the companies. We keep your runs so that re-reading one later is free; if you would rather they were gone, ask and we will delete them.

What is sent to third parties

Everything this product reads is a public record. To answer a call we query the SEC's EDGAR service, which sees a company identifier and our request — the same request anyone can make. Your email, your account and your Ounie identity are never sent to the SEC.

If you ask a comparison for its prose summary, the comparison's output — excerpts of the filing text that changed, which are themselves public record — is sent to a language-model provider so it can be described. The filings are not sent whole, and nothing about you is sent at all. You can switch that off per call with summary: false, and then no third party beyond the SEC is involved.

Because the only inputs are a ticker or CIK, there is nothing sensitive to leak in a request. Do not put secrets, credentials, or personal data about other people into any field regardless.

Where data lives

Run records, cached filing sections and credit ledger entries are stored in a Neon Postgres database hosted in the US. Cached sections contain public filing text only.

Payments

Credit purchases happen on ounie.com, where Stripe processes payment. This product never sees your card number; it only reads and debits your Ounie credit wallet. x402 calls are settled in USDC on-chain and are pseudonymous — we record the paying wallet address and transaction hash, nothing more. Stripe's privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.

An x402 run is stored without an owner, because a keyless caller has no account to attach it to.

Deletion

To delete your account or download your data, open a privacy ticket. We respond within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30.
